Mr. Matthew Storey

As EMEC’s Hydrogen Development Manager, Matt identifies, develops and secures opportunities for EMEC to grow and develop the hydrogen sector. He leads on engagement with clients and suppliers in the hydrogen sector as well as positioning EMEC to deliver on its strategic aims within hydrogen. Matt’s background is within sustainability consulting and strategy, having worked for 9 years with Skanska with a focus on making their construction and development projects more sustainable, leading on their sustainability strategy and working with the industry on a roadmap to net zero. Matt has brought his sustainability background into his role at EMEC as working closely with the EMEC team to make sure that green hydrogen and derivatives are playing a valuable role in energy and transport decarbonisation. This includes the aviation sector, where EMEC is working on a number of projects and investing significant resource into working with key industry players to accelerate decarbonisation and improve sustainability.
