Ms. África Castro

África is an Industrial Engineer with a master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by the University of Zaragoza and has completed a MDP (Management Development Program) at the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. Ms. Castro has been working in energy innovation for over 25 years, the last 20 of them dedicated to hydrogen and fuel cells. She has held positions of responsibility in the fields of technological innovation, corporate strategy and institutional relations at regional, national and international levels. Additionally, she is Coordinator of the Hydrogen Production by Electrolysis working group at the Spanish Technology Platform on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (PTE-HPC) and has expertise in working groups also at European level (FCH JU, Hydrogen Europe). África Castro is Responsible for Business Development for H2B2, a leading technology company for the vertical integration of the entire renewable hydrogen value chain. It offers a service of development, financing, promotion, integration, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of renewable hydrogen production systems, customized for each project. H2B2 develops complete solutions for conventional and integrated projects of hundreds of MW, including the transportation, sale, and supply of green hydrogen to different sectors such as industrial, energy storage, transportation and residential.
